Visit Southwark

Shopping in Southwark is great! A million miles from the homogenous high street experience, Southwark leaves the West End standing when it comes to character and local flavour, with its diverse choice of markets, shops and boutiques.

From monk fish to morels, foodies will find epicurean satisfaction in Borough Market and Conran’s Butlers Wharf Gastrodrome, whilst the Changing Rooms set can source from a wealth of antiques and architectural salvage in Bermondsey – much of this stuff gets used as props in ads – or try Oxo Tower to discover direct-from-designer homewares that will eventually end up in the high street.
