Scary London Bridge
Start at the new London Bridge Experience which is housed in the vaults of this historic bridge. Special effects and real characters take visitors though the bridges 2000-year past, from creation to the opening of the modern day bridge. Downstairs braver visitors can visit the London Tombs which is a spooky experience taking place in surroundings where human remains and historic artefacts have been discovered. After your heartbeat has returned to normal, you can enjoy a bit to eat in Cafe Brood situated inside the building.
Head over to St Thomas's St to the Old Operating Theatre and Herb Garret. The only remaining example of an early 19th century operating theatre, it provides a dramatic insight into life before the modern era. With displays of brutal pre-anaesthetic surgical instruments and interesting talks about what operations would have been like, this is an enlightening experience.
Then head down Tooley St to the London Dungeon. Combining real history, horror and humour it brings gruesome goings on back to life in the 21st century. With two rides including the Extremis: Drop Ride to Doom prepare to face your fears head on in this 90 minute journey.
