Imperial War MuseumPeckham and Elephant & Castle is a large diverse area with many different things to see and do. Some of the attractions include the Cuming Museum which tells the history of Southwark to the South London Gallery next to the Camberwell College of Arts showcasing a challenging programme of exhibitions.

This area has a large amount of outdoor space including the large Burgess Park, the Edwardian Peckham Rye Park and common and the atmospheric Nunhead Cemetery, providing large amounts of green space while still being close to the city.

Families with children will enjoy the Imperial War Museum which is packed to the brim fill of information on all major world conflicts since World War I, and runs a large programme of children's events and activities. 

Elephant and Castle provides shoppers with a Latin American feel, while East St Market retains the values of a traditional English street market. Head down to Peckham Rye and Choumert Road Market for a distinctly African and Caribbean feel making this area one of the most diverse to shop in, in London.
