On Thursday and Friday lunch times, the thriving Borough Market, is a must. Borough Market is rather a maze, but exploration yields delicious rewards and a very tasty lunch! Grab something to go from here and take a seat at one of Better Bankside's highly visible pink tables with chairs located in Southwark Cathedral's churchyard, in Cathedral Square (on the north side of the Cathedral) and in front of Tate Modern.

For lunches on the other days, head to Bankside 123 behind the Tate Modern and discover a series of interconnected public spaces surrounded by plenty of eating and drinking outlets including Leon, Tsuru, Crussh, Pret a Manger, Starbucks, Viva Verdi and Amano.
