Shopping
In keeping with its village feel, many of Dulwich's shops feel like they are also out of a quissentsial English village. From the small independent book shops and design interiors of Dulwich Village to the old fashioned sweet shops and small deli's that can be found in East Dulwich, shopping in Dulwich is a lovely experience.
Dulwich Village
Dulwich is one of the oldest recorded villages in London and that village feel is still apparent today and is reflected in the charm of the shops. Stores such as The Bookshop (the oldest bookshop in Dulwich), Bartley's Florists and the women's fashion store Aqua 2, seem a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of London and provide a relaxing, sedate atmosphere to shop in.
The village is also home to a selection of restaurants and the well known Crown and Greyhound pubic house standing proudly in the centre. Take a trip down to Dulwich for real English charm.
Lordship Lane
Lordship Lane in East Dulwich is becoming unrecognisable from a few years ago. Previously a normal high street in London this has now become well known for its range of delicatessens and quirky shops selling crafts and gifts as well as a plethora of restaurants and gastropubs.
