Design around London Bridge
Start at the Peter Layton: London Glassblowing Workshop. This is a hot glass studio focused on the creation and display of contemporary glass art. The studio has a reputation as one of Europe's leading glassmaking workshops and also is home to The Glass Art Gallery which displays an exciting array of work from Peter Layton and his team throughout the year.
Head up to the Riverside and More London for lunch. Maybe grab some Dim Sum or something more substantial at Dim T restaurant or possibly some Italian cuisine next door at Strada. Both of these restaurants have outdoor seating overlooking City Hall and Tower Bridge.
Head down into the basement of City Hall to understand the architecture of this building, if you are lucky and it is the first weekend of the month, London's Living Room on the top of this building is open for the public to access and see the stunning views out over the Tower of London.
Walk down to the river passing underneath Tower Bridge to Shad Thames and Butlers Wharf, as well as being home to a group on Conran restaurants, the Design Museum is also based here. This museum reviews classic design of the last 100 years and displays also include innovative designs from around the globe as well as special exhibitions.
Finish off the day with a relaxing drink or meal in one of the many restaurants such as La Pont de la tour or Butlers Wharf Chop House overlooking the Thames.
