Visit Southwark

Just a short walk over the Millennium Bridge from the City, its central location makes Southwark extremely accessible, served by major rail and underground connections at London Bridge and Waterloo. The Jubilee line is great for getting you into Southwark from the West End and out to the east of the borough, whilst you’ll find buses offer a great alternative, with frequent services and lots of routes. Plus, you get to see more!

By Boat

There are a number of river operators that stop at Tower Bridge, Tate Modern and Hilton Docklands has it own pier in Rotherhithe that offers a ferry service to and from Canary Wharf.

By Bus

Southwark can be accessed from many bus lines around London. Here are some of the major routes.

By Train

There are a large number of trains that come into London Bridge Station. Trains from London Bridge serve other parts of Southwark including Dulwich, Bermondsey and Peckham.

By Tube

The Jubilee and Northern lines both go into London Bridge station. The Jubilee line also runs to Bermondsey and Canada Water and is easy to catch from Canary Wharf (8 mins) and the West End (10 mins)

On Foot

London Bridge is easy to access from the city as it is a 2 minute walk across the millennium bridge.
